About Ella Sheppard's School of Performing Arts

The Ella Sheppard School of Performing Arts has been a creative hub on the Isle of Wight since it opened in September 2013. Offering a wide range of classes, including ballet, tap, modern, jazz, acro, parent and me, stretch, drama, and adult tap and ballet, the school welcomes students of all ages and abilities.

Over the years, students have participated in a variety of exciting opportunities, from shows and professional pantomimes to displays, carnivals, charity events, recognised examinations, and local dance and drama festivals.

Before establishing the school on the Isle of Wight, Ella Sheppard ran her first performing arts school in Rochford, Essex, for three years and taught at numerous other schools and colleges. She also brings a wealth of professional experience within the performing arts industry.

Ella is a proud member of the ISTD and holds recognised teaching qualifications, alongside first aid and peadiatric first aid certifications. She is fully DBS checked and insured, ensuring a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for every student.
